Literary Agency Links

I have tried to list only credible agencies and agents who are either members of the AAR or if not, who abide by the AAR code of ethics.  Where I've found any other websites or social media associated with the agencies or employed agents, I've linked to them.  Always research the agents' and agencies' websites and guidelines, as statuses and situations always change, and the information I provide here may not be the most current.

There are a number of sites I recommend authors research in their quest for a literary agent:

1000 Literary Agents is an online database for literary agencies and agents.
Absolute Write forums contain a huge cache of information on agents and agencies, as well as other aspects of publishing.
Agent Hunter is an extensive online database for agents and agencies in the United Kingdom.
Agent Query is a comprehensive searchable database of literary agencies and publishing resources.
Literary Rambles spotlights children's and young adult agents with interview-style articles.
Literary Rejections contains a large literary agency database, as well as numerous agent interviews and insight on queries and submissions.
Preditors & Editors is a guide to publishers and publishing services, and includes both recommendations and bewares.
Publishers Marketplace provides information, sales, deals, reviews, and more on publishing professionals.
Query Tracker provides a literary agency and publisher database and online query letter tracking system.
SFWA's Writer Beware is a source of information for writers that focuses on cautionary elements of the publishing industry.
Ultimate Freelance Writing Career Guide is a compilation of useful links for writers, especially freelancers.
Writer's Digest posts informational articles on new agents and highlights what they're currently looking for or representing.
